Much to my surprise Lee County issued 80 single family permits for the month of May valued at $ 26.9 million. Of course no comparison to May of 2007, which there were 307 issued.

28 multi family unit permits in May and 37 new commercial building permits in May valued at a $21.2 million.  Slowly but surely building seems to be on the rise. I am sure we can expect this to continue but at a pace like a turtle!  I guess something is better than nothing at all!
