One person's willingness is another person's gift!Hello Everyone! I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission. Make sure you visit my web site often to see what my progress is! http://pages.teamintraining.org/swfl/sarasota09/vtownes

Time to Buy, Sell, etc
A lot of people have many articles pertaining to when the timing is right. The best answer is when the timing is right for you - that's when the timing is right! I personally got into real estate in SWFL in 2004. I remember people making the comment to me in the years past "I could have bought that lot Gulf Access for X amount of $, I should have when I had the opportunity". There are several key words here. "Timing" it has to be right for you to be involved. "Opportunity" it has to be right for you to be involved. Think of the people that "could have" and didn't. So, if the timing is right for you we certainly have the opportunities. It's ok to call a Realtor® and ask questions, it's ok not to make a purchase now, It's ok to know that selling right now is not an option for you. (it's all about your purpose and financial situation) Find someone that you like, trust and want to do business with and go from there. Most of us seriously work and live by our code of Ethics! We can't force you to buy anything you don't want. You can research our entire area and see most of what's out there but, until you are ready to tell us what you're really looking for - we don't know how to help you. We do have access to a few things that are not public. That's why we're Realtors ® Have a great week. Look for some updates and "healthy recipes" to come soon. http://www.bestcapecoralrealty.com/003B10 Posted on June 18, 2008 14:53:15 by Vickie.TOWNES - View Profile

Lee County building permitsMuch to my surprise Lee County issued 80 single family permits for the month of May valued at $ 26.9 million. Of course no comparison to May of 2007, which there were 307 issued. 28 multi family unit permits in May and 37 new commercial building permits in May valued at a $21.2 million. Slowly but surely building seems to be on the rise. I am sure we can expect this to continue but at a pace like a turtle! I guess something is better than nothing at all!

July 4th 2008Don't forget our famous Red, White & Boom located at the foot of the Cape Coral bridge to Del Prado Boulevard. The Cape Coral Bridge and Cape Coral Parkway will shut down from 12:00 pm July 4 until 3:00 am July 5 for Southwest Florida's biggest fireworks display event. Bring the family and celebrate. The event is amazing with fireworks, food, drink, and local arts-n-crafts, all in downtown Cape Coral! This truly is a great event and fun for everyone! Hope to see you there! http://www.bestcapecoralrealty.com/00379F Posted on May 31, 2008 13:24:54 by Vickie.TOWNES - View Profile
