The Cape is a Buyer

For the first time since 1995, home values decreased and fell below zero.  The average nationwide equity increase was around 15% per year.  In Cape Coral, Florida the increases exceeded 40% in 2004 and around 25% in 2005.  Sellers who purchased 2 or more years ago are still seeing great returns on their investment when selling their property, but those who invested, last year, at the peek of the booming market, are reducing prices below what they paid, to get their property sold.

Although this is bad news for sellers, buyers are benefiting from the market correction.  With a huge selection of homes on the market, good interest rates, and sellers willing to negotiate, buyers are benefiting from the slow down in housing sales.  THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO PURCHASE A HOME OR INVESTMENT PROPERTY.  Remember, throughout history, real estate has always been a solid investment.  This buyer’s market will eventually change, and home prices will go up again, so take advantage now.  Let me show you how.
